Chris has over 20 years experience in the UK's power and biomass sector and was at the forefront of exploiting biomass for co-firing as a Director at AEPUK. Chris left AEP to become the MD at Renewable Fuel Supply Ltd (RFSL) with Ben Elsworth, which became the largest independent UK biomass supplier, before being sold to EdF. Following RFSL Chris joined Prenergy as a Director, and was instrumental in obtaining Prenergy Powers Section 36 Consent for the worlds largest biomass power project. Chris joined MGT Power in 2008.

Ben Elsworth

Ben worked in the energy sector for over 10 years and whilst at AEPUK helped pioneer biomass co-firing in the UK. After setting up RFSL Ben joined the Fuels desk of EdF, where he placed the UK's largest firm supply contract at the time for UK-grown energy crops, as well as executing several of the industrys largest long term infrastructure contracts for bulk handling and transport of solid fuels.

Thiago Azevedo

Thiago has been in the renewables industry since 2003. He was a senior executive at RFSL, where he managed biomass sourcing and logistics, delivering over 100,000 tons to UK power stations, developing new fuels and biomass logistics techniques. After a spell as a consultant in the City, Thiago joined MGT Power in 2008.
